Can We Please Get a Maya Rudolph and Tiffany Haddish Movie ASAP?

Or can they at least host the Oscars next year?

While the Academy Awards tonight have been sort of a snooze, one unsurprising highlight was when dream team Maya Rudolph and Tiffany Haddish came onstage to present Best Documentary Short and Best Live Action Short.

Walking out with their uncomfortable high heels in their hands (Rudolph joked that she was wearing hers since the Critics Choice Awards, and Haddish was visibly wearing Ugg slippers), the two had some words for those in the audience who saw the women onstage and thought the debate over #OscarsSoWhite was changing the ceremony too much.

“When we came out on stage, we know what some of you were thinking: are the Oscars too black now?” Tiffany Haddish said.

“Don’t worry, there are so many more white people to come,” assured Maya Rudolph, who looked like she was wearing a particularly cozy red Snuggy-slash-jumpsuit situation.

And if you thought Tiffany Haddish’s gorgeous, Alexander McQueen white halter dress looked familiar, it’s because it’s the same dress she wore when she hosted Saturday Night Live last year (and, before that, the Girls Trip premiere.) You know, the same one she said she wanted to be buried in? She paid a lot of money for that dress! “I feel like I should be able to wear what I want, when I want, however many times I want, as long as I Febreze it,” she said on SNL.

Haddish also got in a hello to Meryl Streep, in the front row, as part of her ongoing quest to get the actor to play her mom in a movie. And seriously, can someone in Hollywood get Haddish, Streep, and Rudolph in a movie together? Take my money! Take it!
