TMZ reports:
The couple tied the knot at the Aman Canal Grande luxury resort in Venice, Italy Saturday … his rep confirms — and the ceremony was FILLED with celebs like Bono, Bill Murray and Matt Damon.
George and Amal were married by Walter Veltroni — former mayor of Rome.
So yeah, it’s no big deal or anything. Details to come obviously. For the time being, you can pack your grandmother’s beautiful handmade lace wedding dress back in the mothball-scented trunk. Oh and here are a bunch of pictures of all of their famous guests traveling to the wedding venue on boats to tide you over.
