Hair is the new black. That's our story and we're sticking to it.

We already said how we love, love, love Shazia Mirza and all her hairy bits, but now our hearts are almost popping at the thought of her.

To counterbalance the carrot-nibblling anorexic awfulness of London Fashion Week, Shazia got together with performance artist Tracey Moberly to stage a runway show entitled “F*** Off, I’m A Hairy Woman”

“On Monday evening, while silky smooth models stepped out onto runways around the city for London Fashion Week, Mirza staged her very own hairy catwalk event at London’s Café de Paris. “It’s a bit of freak show, but it’s a nice one.” teased Mirza as she invites her hirsute models to the stage.

Ronishazia A melange of women of differing shapes, size and age and with varying degrees hairyness confidently strutted their stuff, and struck a pose – arms aloft of course so we could get a proper look at those hairy pits.”

The models also wore lingerie made out of human body hair. Which is probably genius and creepy, and perhaps a little itchy, all at once. Photo goodness after the jump.
