Happy Bachelorette Weekend to Lea Michele & a Very Fancy Villa

CelebritiesDirt Bag

Lea Michele is getting married soon, and as is the new tradition, she dragged all her girlfriends to an exotic destination and presumably made them spend too much money on rosé and penis balloons. But unlike bachelorettes for Normals, there was a) Getty photographer on hand and b) the accommodations were free, though I’m sure everyone still spent two months complaining to all their other friends about having to attend.

According to People, Michele held her bachelorette at a private villa in Kalihiwai, bestowed upon her by Booking.com. Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher were invited, in addition to some of Michele’s longtime (i.e., Not Famous) friends. The villa included an on-site chef, views of the Kalihiwai Bay, a gym, and a private pool. It looks like everyone had fun:

I once went to a very expensive destination bachelorette where we all got so drunk one woman checked herself into a hospital and another fell at a club and broke her arm. Please inform any celebrities out there looking for a parasitic sidekick that I am very fun and fully available for any and all free future bachelorettes.

21 Savage is still in custody after being arrested by ICE agents over the weekend, and according to his reps, he thinks he was targeted because of his new music, which includes lyrics that are critical of ICE’s activities at the U.S./Mexico border.

Per TMZ:

There continues to be no legal reason to detain Mr. Abraham-Joseph for a civil law violation that occurred when he was a minor, especially when people in his exact situation are routinely released by ICE. Many have speculated as to possible ulterior motives for his arrest and detention, including that he released music five days prior to his arrest by ICE, which included new lyrics condemning the behavior of immigration officials for their detention of children at the border.
We are unaware of why ICE apparently targeted Mr. Abraham-Joseph, but we will do everything possible to legally seek his release and pursue his available relief in immigration court.

TMZ speculates the statement references the song, “A Lot,” which 21 Savage performed on The Tonight Show last month.

Free 21 Savage.

Update: A previous version of this post identified Lea Michele’s villa as an Airbnb. It has been brought to our attention that Michele did not stay at an Airbnb proper but rather a booking.com rental. We apologize to booking.com PR people who brought the error to our attention.
