Shirtless Zac Efron to Join Bear Grylls on His New Show

Actor, heartthrob and possibly Michelle Rodriguez’s boyfriend will be on the premiere of NBC’s new show Running Wild with Bear Grylls running around, jumping off things and generally demonstrating that he’s more than just a good dancer.

In an interview about the appearance, Efron described himself as a “moderate to advanced outdoorsman.” As you can see from the clips released by NBC in preparation for the premiere next week, it looks like he wasn’t exaggerating.

In one, Zac drags his body across a rope between two rocks.


In another, he jumps out of an airplane.

And in the last clip (did you know Zac Efron is going to be on Running Wild with Bear Grylls?) Zac and Bear rappel shirtless down the side of a waterfall. Will he live to tell these tales?
