The Sex and the City 3 Script Had Miranda's Son Sexting Samantha

It’s undeniably good that Sex and the City 3 will never see the light of day, but instead of just going into the mass grave with the millions of other wisely rejected scripts, leaked tidbits continue to haunt us. Last week, we learned that Big was slated to die in the shower. When that didn’t startle us, the Undead Script rattled its chains a little harder. Today, it was reported that SATC3 would have had a plot line featuring Miranda’s son Brady, who is now, regrettably, a teenager. A teenager who sends dick pics. A teenager who sends dick pics to…

Samantha.

Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, made the “empowered decision” last year not to participate in SATC 3. Now I see why! According to E! News,

“…it wasn’t just Big’s all-consuming death that discouraged Kim Cattrall from signing on for the third movie, but pay disparities and the script as a whole. “Kim never wanted to really do the movie to begin with,” the source reveals. “It was a combination of not great money and a bad storyline for Samantha.”
“It was a bad script,” the source puts it simply.

I’ll say. Carrie, once again, gets to be the focal point of the film, and Samantha is stuck fielding sexts from a horny tween? Blech:

“Samantha’s “main storyline” revolved around her and Miranda’s 14-year-old son Brady. Early in the film, Brady gets caught masturbating. He is also caught sending “dick pics” of his erect penis to Samantha.”

Sex and the City 3, I hope your spirit eventually finds peace. But not before we learn what horrors you had planned for Charlotte.
