Last night, Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance at a Black Eyed Peas show at London’s O2 Arena, showing up during the last song of the night to thrill the crowd (I guess?) with his singing and dancing skills.
According to the Daily Mail, Fergie was the only member of the band who actually knew about Cruise’s surprise beforehand: “Fergie gave me a formal invitation to come onstage,” Cruise tells the paper, “The way she said it was, ‘Don’t be a wuss, you’ve got to come on stage for the last song.'” The band has been collaborating with Cruise on his upcoming film, Knight and Day, so I suppose this “surprise” is a nice bit of publicity for them both, no?
