You Can Credit Harry Styles's Fashion Sense to Shania Twain

Though former One Direction member and present aspiring rock star Harry Styles is more often compared to a young Mick Jagger, when a reporter recently asked him who his musical and style icons were he gave an interesting answer.

“I think both music and fashion, my main influence was probably Shania Twain,” Styles told Entertainment Tonight before performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “Yeah, I think she’s amazing.”

Upon closer examination, Styles’s quote checks out. Who else would inspire him to wear this hat?

As you can clearly see, the influence is undeniable.

The two have actually had a sort of two-way fan relationship for a few years now. After Styles tweeted about Twain in 2013 she invited him and One Direction to her vegas show and it seems like they’ve hung out since.
