Amanda Batula and West Wilson Have Fled the Country

After the events of last night’s heavily anticipated Summer House reunion, the best thing for Amanda Batula and West Wilson to do is probably to flee the country, and hey! It looks like they did!

In March, two fellow Summer House cast members, Batula and Wilson, declared their love for each other via a joint Instagram statement, blindsiding Ciara Miller, Wilson’s ex and Batula’s ex-best friend. So what better thing to do than get the three of them onto a soundstage with Andy Cohen and let the shit storm unfold?

But before Tuesday’s premiere could reach our eyes and ears, TMZ reported that Wilson and Batula were spotted traveling in Italy. Fleeing the scene of the crime, perhaps…? According to their sources, Wilson is bringing Batula as his plus-one to his cousin’s wedding in Italy, which is a pretty ballsy move, considering they are now public enemies #1 and #2. And call me old-fashioned, but it’s probably better not to overshadow the bride and groom on their special day with your viral relationship drama.

Will they return home to the States to open arms after being vindicated at the reunion? Nope! Because during part one of the three-part reunion, the cast went hard on the Batula-Wilson relationship timeline, and Miller, with the help of Lindsay Hubbard, left no stone unturned as she grilled her former best friend and ex in front of the country. It made for good television, to say the least.

First, we must acknowledge Hubbard’s skillful read on Wilson: “You’re so f*cking good… at pulling girls, doing whatever you need to do to climb the ladder, to clout chase, to get to wherever you need to go..boom, they don’t work for you and you drop them, and you’re going to do the same f*cking thing to Amanda… because you’re a f*cking toddler.” No notes, Lindsay.

We also learned more (alleged) details on how Batula and Wilson’s clandestine relationship began. According to the couple, they had their first kiss in February but did not sleep together until after they released the aforementioned joint statement, a convenient story that neither the cast nor the country really believes.

And after this read from Miller, Batula and Miller might not step foot in NYC ever again: “There are a million other f*cking guys in New York City,” Miller says to Batula at one point. “But you chose the one that—you know how much that fucked me up—You chose the one guy. You did it on purpose because you’re a fucking snake, Amanda. You’re a snake in the fucking grass, is what you are. You should honestly just say, “Okay,” because you know you are. You move silent, but you’re fucking deadly.” (Miller still got her revenge dress moment, though.)
