Life is good when you’re the grandchild of a very famous person. It’s even better when that very famous person happens to be Audrey Hepburn and you’ve inherited her cheekbones.
Emma Ferrer, the 20-year-old granddaughter of Audrey Hepburn, is currently channelling her grandma on the September cover of Harper’s Bazaar. Dressed in Lanvin and Carolina Herrera gowns that look like they could have come straight out of Sabrina or Roman Holiday, Ferrer, an art student, looks right at home.
The Hepburn family has a long history with Bazaar, thanks to Audrey’s friendship with Richard Avedon, a photographer who often did work for the magazine. Keeping it all in the family, Ferrer’s spread was shot by Richard’s grandson, Michael Avedon.
This isn’t Bazaar‘s first Audrey Hepburn-inspired photo shoot. In 2006, Natalie Portman covered the magazine wearing Hepburn’s original dress from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. In other words, Audrey Hepburn is to Harper’s Bazaar what the Kennedys are to Vanity Fair.
