Fey and Poehler Have Thoughts On Being the Only Women at This Roast

Dream team Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the only two female comedians to be included in cable network Spike’s upcoming tribute to legendary comedian Don Rickles. The pair had some thoughts on this and (if this preview is any indication) expressed them with quips so sharp that they cut the whole room down.

“We’re here tonight to celebrate Don Rickles,” Fey began. “And honestly, it’s almost like he’s here with us.”

Once they cleared up that Don Rickles is in fact still alive and was sitting a mere few feet away from them, Poehler continued, “So here we are because they thought it was important for Don to be honored by at least one woman, which is apparently what we count as.”

“Yeah,” Fey added. “Thanks for sending one car for the both of us. Did you send Seinfeld a half a car?”

These two were great to begin with, but they just keep getting better and better.
