Former American Idol Contestant Stars in RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6

There’s a new sneak peek promo for the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which begins airing on LOGO in February. If you can see beyond the makeup and wigs (you can’t), one of the contestants may look familiar — he was on American Idol in 2008.

Danny Noriega was in the top 16 on American Idol, but, according to Yahoo TV, has more recently been performing as Adore Delano in drag shows in Southern California. Unlike some other drag queens, Adore sings live. Here’s Adore doing a fab rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay.”

Of course, it’s not all about Adore. As Entertainment Weekly reports, this is the full-line up of contestants:

Click here to “Meet the Queens.” Are you ready to watch the kittens serve fish, read to filth and throw shade? I know I am. Promo below. The song is by HiFashion, and called “Amazing,” obvs.
