Gisele Bündchen: 'I Love the Smell of Nature'

Chanel gave us an intimate moment that we didn’t ask for with Gisele Bündchen, the face of their Chanel N°5 fragrance. In the clip, Bündchen is wrapped in a blanket, walking barefoot in leaves, while describing how she’s at her happiest whenever she is in the middle of nature.

A notable quote: “I love the smell of nature. For example, after it rains and the smell of the earth. It’s my favorite smell. It just smells like wet earth.”

After my third time of watching this visual poetry, I decided to sync the clip to some Jewel videos, just like people do with The Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. I was pleased to find a similar synchronicity. It matches up nicely with my favorite song by Jewel, “Hands,” but works extremely well with “Who Will Save Your Soul.” Just press mute on Bündchen and turn up some Jewel in another tab. Highly recommended.
