Golden Globe Nominations: And The Best Cunnilingus Scene Goes To…
LatestThis morning, the Golden Globe nominations foretold good things for The King’s Speech, The Social Network, and Black Swan, and more. But the probability of someone winning for a scene involving oral sex on a woman is very, very high.
There was the usual mix of inevitability and errant surprises in this morning’s list; it’s always fun to think about which movie nominees will definitely not make it to the Oscars. This time: Burlesque! Have fun while you can, Love And Other Drugs people! Time also to figure out how The Tourist qualifies as a comedy.
The King’s Speech and The Fighter got the most nominations, and in the TV category, Glee ruled. Also, Johnny Depp is nominated against himself.
Meanwhile, as awards season kicks off, blogger Jeff Wells notes how much cunnilingus this year’s awards favorites involve. Both those receiving — Annette Bening in The Kids Are All Right, Natalie Portman in Black Swan and Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine — and to a lesser extent, those giving (Mila Kunis in Black Swan, Ryan Gosling in Blue Valentine) were nominated today as well. (Sorry, Julianne Moore. You, um, get the shaft for The Kids Are All Right.) And Julianne Moore!
