Sia’s new video for “Fire Meet Gasoline” stars Heidi Klum and Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal as a very sexually active couple who set their house on fire… because… their love is explosive? Or maybe they killed somebody with a rock, I’m honestly not sure. The video, directed by Lana del Rey’s very Italian semi-boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini, is good in that we get to see Pedro Pascal and Heidi Klum go crazy on each other’s bodies; it’s not so good in that it feels pretty unoriginal.
I keep wanting more out of Sia, but maybe I should just appreciate this sexy dalliance for what it is and shut the hell up. What do you think?
UPDATE: Turns out there’s a reason something was off here—this wasn’t Sia’s music video, after all. Although it was posted to Sia’s VEVO account, the musician had nothing to do with its making other than providing permission to use the track; the video was filmed for Heidi Klum’s Intimates Lingerie campaign.
