Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw Are Very Gay and Very English in the Trailer for BBC's A Very English Scandal
Entertainment
Back in the 1970s, a member of the British Parliament named Jeremy Thorpe was accused first of having a sexual affair with a man named Norman Josiffe and, second, hiring someone to kill him. Thorpe was never found guilty of any crimes (there’s a chance their affair never even happened), and was voted out of Parliament in 1979.
