Checking In on Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner’s New Romance

Amid all the performances, Instagram slideshows, and “brand activations” (whatever that is) at Coachella was what’s turning out to have been the start of a summer romance: Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner have been hanging out together all over the place in recent weeks. 

Page Six says that the two have been “reportedly” secretly dating since February—”thanks to Kylie” Jenner—but the April music festival was the first time they’d been seen together in public. 

Since then, they’ve been out and about together a number of times. Earlier this month, they went to Hawaii and drank rosé straight from the bottle (they’re just like us etc.). According to a Page Six source, “Kendall really didn’t expect to be this into him this fast, but Hawaii kind of changed everything.” (Both clauses of that sentence make me laugh—because what do you mean you didn’t expect to be “into” Jacob Elordi so quickly? And “Hawaii changed everything” sounds like something a Bachelor contestant who goes home before fantasy suites would say.)

Upon returning, the couple went on a double date with Kylie and Timothée Chalamet last weekend, producing some iconic paparazzi photos. Interestingly, Elordi had been scheduled to be a judge at Cannes, but backed out due a foot injury; however, as The Cut astutely noted, in photos from his outings with Jenner, his “foot does not seem to be bothering him much at the moment.”

The couple is apparently spending this long weekend together as well (although I’m not sure if “federal holidays” are something celebrities are really aware of). Among their activities: picking up a “massive coffee order” and “freak[ing] out over a cute dog” at a coffee shop/bookstore (according to DeuxMoi), and going out to dinner, apparently on another double date (though TMZ did not specify with whom) near Jenner’s ranch in Montecito.

Obviously, neither has commented on the matter publicly, but I’ve got a feeling this is going to be the buzziest couple of the summer.
