The final episode of Kate Plus 8 airs tonight, but if you would stop sobbing for just one moment, Kate Gosselin has some great news: If the opportunity presents itself, she’d be happy to exploit her children on TV once again. On the Today Show, Kate said of her TLC show ending, “I feel sad for my kids because of all of the opportunities that they’re now questioning what’s gonna happen … I feel sad for fans, because they’re devastated.” Uh, okay. When asked about Jon Gosselin saying he’s happy the kids won’t be on TV anymore, she said, “It’s a situation where Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids, and working a regular job — I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities, not unlike every parent. I think that to be a good parent is to work as hard as you can and give them the best opportunities in life, and [reality TV] has provided that.” She added, “I’m sure you will see my kids again at some point.” [Radar]
Supposedly ABC is considering replacing George Stephanopoulos as Good Morning America anchor because they think news reader Josh Elliott has better chemistry with Robin Roberts. Another factor is that Elliott is taller than Roberts, who is 5’10”, while Stephanopoulos is only 5’6″. Apparently the suits at ABC can’t process seeing a tall woman next to a short man. [TMZ]
