Khloe Kardashian and boyfriend rapper French Montana endured their first Couple Interview and it was … awkward. Khloe opened right up on how they’re doing as lovers, while French mostly let her kontrol the konversation.
During their chat with Angie Martinez over at New York’s Power 105.1 radio station, the pair made jokes about how dangerous French is made out to be in the tabloids but really, it’s Khloe who’s worried about him.
“People are gonna comment no matter what,” Khloe says about the public’s fixation on her romantic life. “If I dated the most clean cut perfect guy, they’re gonna comment. If I’m having fun and I like this kid, no one else should care. They’re not fucking him so why do they care? Or maybe they are, I don’t know.”
French was a bit subdued because he’s observing Ramadan, a month-long Muslim fast, which Khloe isn’t making easier. The fast bars drinking, smoking, food before sundown and sex, which is making the Bronx MC, who’s also in the midst of a divorce with his ex-wife, cranky. But on his better days, he’s Kardashian-ing it up by throwing ’em back with Mama Kardashian-Jenner (“Me and Kris Jenner are best friends, and we drink together”) and recording new music with almost family member, Kanye West. See, synergy.
As for a role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe wants French to pop by but not as a season regular because she wants to keep their Jeep-gifting, Bronx-bombing relationship private. You know, as private as Us Weekly and Life & Style, of course.
