Speaking at a Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry event on Monday, Meghan McCain said it’s a “bitch” being a Republican who supports marriage equality. Umm…yeah. No doy. But good on her for sticking by her beliefs in what, on many occasions, must be a hostile situation.
According to the Huffington Post, shortly after Romney lost to Obama, McCain said she would consider switching parties if the GOP failed to change some of its stances. While it’s a start, one Senator with a gay son does not a changed stance make — so what’s the word, McCain?
