Mel Gibson's Ex-Girlfriend Lost $500,000 Because She Dared To Utter His Name In Public

Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva just lost $500,000 because she dared to speak his name in public in a 2013 appearance on Howard Stern.

The Meddling Melanies at UsWeekly report that according to the California Court of Appeals, Grigorieva violated their settlement agreement when she spoke to Stern about the details of their messy domestic abuse case.

She was set to receive a cool $750,000 as part of a settlement agreement that stemming from allegations that Gibson allegedly hit her while she was holding their then 7-month old daughter in early 2010.

For those of you who stopped paying attention to Mel Gibson after What Women Want, Grigorieva is the one that supposedly leaked tapes of Gibson screaming racial slurs and obscenities to Radar in July 2010. It is safe to say that those tapes were the beginning of the end for Gibson’s career.

As per the agreement, the settlement was to be paid out in three parts. Girgorieva got $250,000 but since the court found that she violated the terms, that’s how the cookie crumbles.
