Disney has just confirmed that it has agreed to acquire George Lucas’ Lucasfilm Ltd… The stock and cash transaction is worth an estimated $4.05 billion.
Deadline (which goes on to report that Disney’s acquisition of the Star Wars franchise includes plans to release Episode 7 in 2015.)
