'Orphaned' Rita Ora Settles Lawsuit With Roc Nation, Finds a New Home

Latest

Rita Ora has been released from Jay Z’s record label Roc Nation, after settling a lawsuit filed against them last year in which she deemed their partnership an “orphaned relationship.”

Roc Nation subsequently filed a $2.3 million counter suit against Ora for failure to deliver music as promised and breaching her contract. Ora, no longer an orphan, has reportedly settled the suit out of court and signed to Warner Music, according to sources.

Billboard reports:

Despite the contentious tone of the lawsuits, Ora’s attorney Howard King told Billboard at the time that Jay Z had called the singer shortly after she filed suit to ensure her that a release was imminent and that the matter would be settled out of court.

You know what this means. Hella Rita Ora music coming soon. Ora confirmed as much via SnapChat.
