Racist UCLA Students Won't Stop Posting Signs Calling Asian Women 'White-Boy Worshipping Whores'
LatestOn Tuesday, a sign that read “asian women R Honkie white*-boy worshipping Whores” was found taped to a Vietnamese Student Union sign. Charming. The very next day, a creepily hand-scrawled “Asian Women are White-Boy Worshipping Sluts” was posted in the women’s bathroom of Powell Library.
Ugh, you dumb kids! Not only are these fucking racist, they’re stupid as fuck. Which, no duh, racists are stupid, so I don’t know why I’m always a little shocked by their incompetence. Seriously, get it the fuck together, racists.
Anees Hasnain, the student who reported the first sign, was understandably shaken. “How can this be our home if my peers do not feel safe?” Hasnain said to the crowd. “It is up to all staff, faculty and students to help those suffering from discrimination.”
According to student paper theDaily Bruin,, about a hundred people rallied at the site where the first letter was discovered. “(The administration wants) to express support and concern,” Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Janina Montero said at the rally, “I want to make sure that all the students here, regardless of their ethnicity, background or situation, know that this is unacceptable.”
UCLA hasn’t been a stranger to this special brand of hate-posting, earlier this year this lovely anti-Mexican, sexist piece of shit was posted on an apartment door.
Obviously racism is an issue everywhere, and on ever college campus, but after (now former) UCLA student Alexandra Wallace’s insane racist garbage rant last year, it seems UCLA has a real problem with people who like to be stupidly racist toward Asian people. It probably has to do with the high percentage of Asian students at UCLA, and whenever a white person feels like something they own is taken away from them by a person of color, you better watch out because things can get really ugly, really fast.
The Asian Pacific Coalition plans to hold a forum in the basement of the Student Activities Center on Dec. 5 to further discuss campus climate at UCLA. University police are currently investigating both incidents.
