Ronda Rousey Apologizes for Posting Photoshopped Image on Instagram

Latest

Ronda Rousey has publicly apologized for posting an Instagram photo of herself that was Photoshopped, claiming she wasn’t aware the image was altered.

The photo, a shot of Rousey’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, was Photoshopped to make her arm appear smaller. In a caption of a side by side comparison, she writes:

I have to make an apology to everyone – I was sent a picture to share on social for Fallon that was altered without me knowing to make my arms look smaller. I won’t say by who – I know it was done with severely misplaced positive intentions – but this goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body. And I can assure you all it will never happen again. I could not be more appalled and hope you all forgive me.

Seems like the photo was handed down to her by someone in her team (perhaps her publicist), which is pretty standard for celebrities, and Rousey didn’t notice the change until later. Shout out to publicists who know how to Photoshop.
