Sarah Silverman Talks About Her Current Boyfriend With Her Ex-Boyfriend

I guess it’s inevitable that Sarah Silverman will talk about her relationship with Jimmy Kimmel every time she’s on his talk show. She’s done so multiple times, and she did last night again. It’s not as cringey as it sounds… although it’s not not-cringey, either.

After referencing Kimmel’s son’s recent battle with heart disease, Silverman noted he has had two kids since the end of their relationship in 2009. “So I guess… it really is over,” she added cheekily.

She described Michael Sheen, whom she’s been dating since 2014, as her “on-again-off-again lover” because of the long-distance nature of their relationship. “His daughter turned 18, he wanted to go home,” she said of the Welsh actor. “You know how I’m like kind of politically active? He wants to be and he needs to be home to do that. So he’s there a lot and then we just long for each other and we see each other and we love each other.”

“We’ll figure it all out,” said Kimmel. “You have a dog right?”

Silverman also described in detail the epiglottitis that she says nearly killed her last year, which would have been absolutely insane. And then on the following segment, more reminiscing with Kimmel and more Sheen talk:
