Shia LaBeouf Arrested and Dragged Out During Broadway Performance

Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested dragged out of a performance of Cabaret in New York on Thursday evening.

According to various reports, LaBeouf was slapping people from behind and smoking. Via ABC News:

LaBeouf, 28, was smoking inside the theater and engaging in other disruptive behavior, police said. When he was asked to leave, he refused and then threatened the officers and people on the sidewalk outside.

According to the New York Post, his behavior got even worse when police took him in:

At the Midtown North precinct he got belligerent with officers, telling cops who were about to remove his hand cuffs: “F–k you. I’ll f- -k you up,” sources said.

While being fingerprinted LaBeouf told one cop “I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys and I’m going to ruin your career.” He then used a homophobic epithet at the officer doing the fingerprinting, calling him a “fag.”

Sources told The Post, the Transformers actor was spitting at police and had to be put into a protective face mask.

According to Broadway World, Cabaret cast member Danny Burstein posted an update on his Facebook after the arrest:

According to cast member [Burstein] on Facebook, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs.”
Yep, that just happened.

LaBeouf faces charges of criminal trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct.
