The best thing about Halloween is that—unless you’re into cons, cosplay, and the like—it’s the one day of the year that you’re encouraged (expected, even) to walk around dressed in your freakiest, funniest, weirdest, sluttiest garb and no one can say BOO about it. So let’s show off our 2016 costumes!

To get the thread started, here’s some of the Jezebel staff:

Ellie Shechet and I, both big fans of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, went as SUR servers.

To quote VPR’s Stassi Schroeder, “Working at SUR is different from working at any other restaurant. The servers all want to be models, actors, writers, singers. The servers at other Hollywood restaurants just want to be waiters at SUR.”

Also working within the reality TV genre is editor-in-chief Emma Carmichael who dressed as pregnant JWoww from Jersey Shore. Timely!

Gabrielle Bluestone did a pretty spot-on Cher Horowitz. She even accessorized with a Josh!

Here’s Aimée Lutkin as Poison Ivy.

Rich Juzwiak somehow made Top Gun less gay.
