Sounds Like Bella Hadid’s (Ex?) Beau Got Arrested for Refusing to Mind His Own Business

Right off the bat, it seems like Bella Hadid has not broken up with her cowboy, Adan Banuelos, at least if this Texas county arrest report is to be believed. But we’ll return to that in a moment.

Last weekend, the tabloids reported that Banuelos—a Texas-based championship rider and National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Fame Inductee—was arrested for public intoxication. But the details were a little fuzzy, with TMZ suggesting that he “had a little too much Friday night fun,” and had already bonded out of the Parker County jail after paying $386. Whatever the situation, there was definitely a mugshot.

But TMZ got hold of the full arresting papers this week, reporting that Hadid had actually been pulled over at a traffic stop near Gator’s Cantina in Weatherford, Texas, and then Banuelos went up to the cops in the parking lot to seemingly…defend his (maybe) girlfriend. “I immediately noted that Adan’s speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” the arresting officer wrote in the report.

According to the report, Adan told officers that Bella left her cellphone at the bar, and he was worried about her, so he “followed her” because he “cared for her.” Officers also noted there was an “odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.” They identified Hadid as Banuelos’ girlfriend…though this does sound a bit more like ex behavior to me.

It’s unclear where Hadid was during all of this—still just sitting in her car? The report notes that Banuelos left his car running while he spoke with officers, with a dog inside, who he said was Hadid’s. Banuelos then admitted to officers he had “four” beers and agreed to a field sobriety test, but they took him in to keep him from “possibly driving a vehicle or posing a danger to himself or others.”

The report further states that Banuelos told police “he was at home with a friend when Isabella came home and then left again to go back to the bar.” He insists he didn’t drive the truck, but refused to name who did—and says once they got to the bar, his friend went inside while he went over to the cops.
