Technology Now Exists to Print 3D Model of Fetuses. But Why?

Latest

Scientists in Japan have developed technology that allows doctors to print a 3D model of a woman’s developing fetus, presumably so the woman can make it into a giant Flava Flav style pregnancy bling necklace and freak everyone out.

Mashable reports that the service costs about $1,200 USD and is, sadly, only available in Japan. Fetus face-only models are available, too, for a slightly reduced price.

That’ll do, Japan.
