On Sunday, Ted Cruz expressed his unhappiness with the video of Donald Trump gleefully discussing sexual assault by criticizing the timing of the release.
No matter that the media has been reporting on Trump saying and doing these exact things for years.
Still, the worst part for Cruz really has to be that it was only two weeks ago that he endorsed Trump—a man who insulted his wife’s looks, told the world his father probably murdered JFK, threatened to expose secrets about his marriage, and introduced the nickname “Lyin’ Ted.” He could have been the sole GOP holdout. People would have looked at him like a goddamn hero.
Personally, I’m glad the media waited.
