The Final One-Fifth of Fifth Harmony Has Landed a Solo Deal

EntertainmentMusic

L.A. Reid has signed Dinah Jane from the currently disbanded Fifth Harmony (R.I.P.) to Hitco Records, the label he founded after leaving Sony last year.

Variety reports that Dinah Jane, aka the tall one with the full voice, has a new single expected to drop in the next couple weeks and is reportedly working with the songwriters behind “Worth It” and “Wrecking Ball.”

This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated. Reid, the former head of Epic Records, served as a judge on the season of The X Factor that birthed Fifth Harmony and played a direct role in crafting the girl group out of five hopeful contestants deemed not yet ready to compete solo.

(Remember when Reid left Sony after multiple employees accused him of sexual harassment? Well, his new label is doing great.)

Dinah Jane is the latest ex-Fifth Harmony member to land a solo record label or management deal, following Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Ally Brooke.
