The Kardashians Extend Their E! Contract for Five More Seasons

The Kardashians recently celebrated 10 years of Kris Jenner trying not to smile through every fake conversation on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. That streak will continue, ratings be damned, because E! has extended the family’s contract another five seasons for a total of $150 million through 2019.

The deal is for $30 million each cycle, which is $10 million more than what the Kardashian-Jenners previously made per season. Whether the storylines are vapid or vaguely riveting, each family member will earn a salary directly equivalent to their professional value.

If you’re curious, TMZ reports that the deal “is structured so that the family decides how to split up the money amongst themselves.” Which means Kim should get 40 percent, Kris gets 50 percent and the rest goes to Kylie’s freakish dogs.
