There’s an Instagram Dedicated to People Who Fight at Ariana Grande Concerts
It's my new favorite show.

Shhhhhh. My favorite show is on: Watching videos of people getting in fights at Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine world tour. And if you want to watch too, it’s your lucky day! Now there’s an account on Instagram dedicated to posting videos of fans brawling for Ariana. I’m obsessed with it.
Because if there’s one thing Arianators have in common with Miss Grande herself is that—and I preface this by saying this observation comes from a place of deep love and respect—they can both sometimes…perhaps…be a little bit…messy. And we love them for it! What else would you expect from a stadium full of people singing, “break up with your girlfriend, cuz I’m bored?” Mess.
When Grande first embarked on her Eternal Sunshine world tour in June, the breakup rumors surrounding her three-year relationship with Ethan Slater had just been confirmed. Later that month, while stopping off in Austin for a leg, Grande began singing about her ex, Ricky Alvarez (the same Ricky from “thank u next”), whom she dated for about a year from 2015 to 2016. Sources later confirmed the two were back together, and “taking things slow.” But when you think about it, a tour built on the lore of a divorce, a showmance, and an ex-backslide was always destined to be chaotic. Of course people are going to fight.
I first became aware of this Instagram page, estourfights—which now boasts over 5,000 followers—after a fan fight at her Atlanta concert went viral. Thankfully, everyone already had their phones out to record multiple angles of the fight, and, as the video evidence demonstrates, just as Ariana launched into the upbeat chorus of the banger “Into You,” these two fans were not.
All the drama and action you would ever want from an HBO Limited Series or a Bravo spinoff, but with the delight of hearing Grande’s beautiful live vocals in the background. Plus, it takes me back to the good old days of walking past kids brawling in the cafeteria at 7 am. The nostalgia! Based on what I could find from fans online, “Into You” is one of the final songs on the setlist, meaning this fight was brewing since the doors opened.
Since this viral ATL throwdown, the account has sourced several more instances of fans either throwing hands or getting lippy at the tour. And while the account owner has stated that they are not encouraging interfandom fighting per se, if you just happen to take a video of your local Ariana Grande tour fight, send it on over so that we can all watch it.
Clearly, the fighting is happening regardless of this page’s existence, since Ariantors don’t play about cutting people in line. Grande is not even halfway through the tour yet, so I don’t know about you, but I am going to be tuning in to this Instagram for future Pulitzer Prize-winning updates.
