The trailer for this cat documentary Kedi, about street cats in Istanbul, truly warmed my heart. I hate to be smarmy and predict that watching it will make you emotional, too, but it will. And you will love it.
Walking cats. Sleeping cats. Thinking cats. Watching the trailer, you have to remind yourself that cats aren’t people, but could be. It really starts to choke you up toward the middle, with shots from the felines’ perspective paired tenderly with the soundtrack of Vashti Bunyan’s “I’d Like to Walk Around in Your Mind.”
