The Theater for a New Audience at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center in Brooklyn, NY has announced that Oscar Isaac—actor and smokin’ hot babe—will step into the slippers of Denmark’s broodiest prince in a Summer 2017 production of Hamlet.
As the New York Times reminds us, “Mr. Isaac appeared in Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo and Juliet in 2007 and that of Two Gentlemen of Verona in 2007 and 2005…He has since played leading roles in the film Inside Llewyn Davis, the HBO mini-series Show Me a Hero (for which he won a Golden Globe), and the pilot Poe Dameron in the latest Star Wars blockbuster, The Force Awakens.”
Not to mention, several of your dreams.
The show, directed by Fun Home’s Sam Gold, will run in June of next year. Horatio will be played by the sexy, disco-dancing robot from Ex Machina and BB-8 has been cast as the skull of Yorick. It’s gonna be adorable.
