When Season 3 rolls around, a female suitor will be the one choosing between a gaggle of men, in an effort to “shake up the show,” according to an interview that Shiri Appleby, who plays angsty producer Rachel, gave Entertainment Tonight. She and Constance Zimmer (Quinn) shared the Season 3 plot news on Tuesday during a Facebook Live session.
“You won’t only have two strong female leads, but we’re going to add a third one,” Zimmer said on FB. “I wonder how many of the 25 men you get together with and Quinn will get together with.” Appleby also told ET, “I think it will be great to add another strong female to the mix, someone to really battle with Quinn and Rachel. And then, put them in an environment with all of these men and see how they react.”
Focusing on the dynamic of women on reality TV was what the show was best at in its first season, so this seems like a smart directional shift for a series that stumbled in its second season after a strong opening.
