US Airways Is Cool With Dude Flying In Skimpy Panties (And Little Else)

Latest

US Airways seems to have an interesting take on what is and is not acceptable in-flight attire.

US Airways is defending its decision to allow a man wearing skimpy women’s panties and high heels to fly days before a football player was arrested on a plane in California over a dispute over his saggy pants.

The “scantily clad” man flew on June 9 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to Phoenix and was photographed by a fellow passenger who gave the photo to the San Francisco Chronicle.

But perhaps the strangest part is that this event took place just six days before University of New Mexico football player Deshon Marman was arrested on a US Airways flight in San Francisco after “he refused to pull up his pants.

A US Airways spokeswoman told the Chronicle that they “were right not to ask the man on the Phoenix flight to cover himself but declined to comment on Marman’s arrest.” Interesting.
