Well, Well, Well…Look Who’s *Actually* Engaged

It only took eight months of walking about Rome, Paris, New York City, and London for this couple to know they were a match. But after a week of speculating whether or not these two got engaged, our group chats may finally lay rest–It’s official.

Last week, the streets ran rampant with unconfirmed stories about a possible engagement between Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles after they were photographed together in London, along with an enormous diamond on Kravitz’s ring finger. Then on Thursday, Page Six published a story confirming the engagement, but being that Page Six is a likely place for such a rumor to start, I wasn’t buying it—They’ve only been dating eight months, plus women can wear rings without being engaged! But reader, I’ll be the first to admit: I was WRONG.

As of Monday, Kravitz and Styles are actually confirmed, officially, for-real-sies engaged, according to People. Engagement deniers (me) be damned! According to People’s source, the couple has shared the news with “a small circle,” and Kravitz “has been showing off her ring to friends.” Which, she should. Again, it’s huge. Meanwhile, Page Six’s source reported that Harry “is completely smitten” and “would jump off a cliff for her.” Damn—I mean, congrats!

The news comes less than two years after Kravitz broke off her engagement to ex-Channing Tatum in October 2024. Styles was last linked to actress Taylor Russell, but split around the same time. 

I guess someone wasn’t lying when they told PageSix in September that things were moving fast—“from 0 to 60”—the same month Zoe reportedly introduced Harry to her father, Lenny Kravitz. In February, People also reported that Kravitz would join Styles during his residency tour for Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which is slated to begin in May. Kravitz herself is no stranger to the music scene, having previously been part of the duo Lolawolf. Maybe after the nuptials, we will get some Kravitz features on Styles’s next album? One can dream.

But I’m sorry again that I ever doubted these two. Congratulations are officially in order. I guess it just goes to show: couples who go for walks to get matcha together, stay together.
