And that’s how it should be. But on our own time, in our personal lives, we still buy stuff. Thus we’re introducing Worth It, a daily recommendation of random things that we’ve actually spent our own money on. These are the things we buy regularly or really like, things we’d actually tell our friends about. And now we’re telling you.
I used to think blush looked cheesy — associating it with the era during which I thought all made-up faces required blue eye-shadow — but there are times my cheeks could use the help. That is, in lieu of physical exertion. But Tarte cheek stain isn’t cheesy, which may be why it has its own following. (I won’t say “iconic.” I won’t.) It goes on sheer and looks as realistic as you can get without actually moving.
