A Fourth Member of Fifth/Fourth Harmony Drops a Solo Track

Entertainment

First, Camila Cabello dropped out of Fifth Harmony to pursue a solo career. She released her first solo single “Crying in the Club” in May. A second Fifth Harmony member, Lauren Jauregui, duetted on “Strangers,” a song about bisexual lovers from Halsey’s second album, released on the second of June (the sixth month of the year), which is the same date that Fifth Harmony—which is really Fourth Harmony—dropped its first post-Cabello single “Down,” featuring Gucci Mane, who has a song titled “First Day Out Tha Feds.”

Fifth/Fourth Harmony member Normani Kordei has also previously done solo covers, including this Drake mash-up (though she insists Fifth/Fourth Harmony is top priority right now). Which leaves us with Ally Brooke, the fourth Fifth/Fourth Harmony member to do solo work—a feature on “Look At Us Now” with Lost Kings and ASAP Ferg, a song that’s as abnormally cheery as a good pop song should be and satisfying predominantly because of its bright glitter-burst chorus. Never forget: Fallen Fifth/Fourth Harmony member Camila Cabello started this solo trend first.
