Attention, Cumberbitches: your British god with chiseled cheekbones has successfully procreated. The 38-year-old Sherlock actor and his wife Sophie Hunter have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. The mini-Cumberbatch’s name has not yet been released.
“Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” a rep for the actor said in a statement to Us Weekly. “We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
According to BBC, Cumberbatch and Hunter met in 2009 when they filmed something together called Burlesque Fairytales. They were married in a private ceremony on Valentine’s Day of this year.
