After rage-baiting us all with her fairy tale honeymoon along the coast of Italy, Dua Lipa is returning to the studio (and opening a library for banned books!).

Dua Lipa is officially back from her two-week honeymoon along the coast of Italy with her James Bond husband, Callum Turner, so we can all take a little break from being rage-baited by her fairytale life. Congrats, Dua. We’re all understandably very jealous of you and your awesome vacations.
But the fun ends here. It’s time to get back in the damn studio. On Tuesday, Lipa was spotted (in a bridal-esque all-white fit) arriving at Electric Lady Studios in NYC. Perhaps feeling musically inspired by the last month of wedding festivities…

It’s been quite the month for these newlyweds: After having an intimate courthouse ceremony in London at the end of May, Lipa and Turner invited loved ones (like Charli XCX and Troye Sivan) to a lavish wedding at a mansion in Palermo, Sicily. We knew they were destined to have the most picturesque wedding of all time because A) they’re hot, and B) it’s Sicily. The wedding photos proved the theory correct.
The couple then embarked on their honeymoon, stopping in various coastal cities in Italy—from Favignana to Rome to the Amalfi Coast to Matera—where they were spotted yachting, sunbathing, swimming, reading, kissing in front of Roman landmarks, and eating pasta. Pretty much everything you wish you were doing on any given day instead of sitting in traffic.

And for the fortnight that Lipa was living the life of a coastal princess, the internet lived vicariously through her. Vanity Fair reported that Google searches for “Dua Lipa honeymoon” increased by 1,800 percent during June. Now that she has returned to the real world, Lipa has her hands full with the opening of a library, because guess what—she’s also an intellectual. Last week, Lipa announced the opening of her Manifesto Library, a pop-up at the historic Livraria Lello bookshop in Porto, Portugal, focused on banned and restricted titles.
“This library is a shrine to books that have disappeared, to authors whose courage unmasks structures of power and control and to readers who refuse to be told what book they’re allowed,” she wrote.
As for Turner, the actor has been a rumored frontrunner for the role of James Bond, although a longtime 007 casting director claimed Turner was already too famous to replace Daniel Craig and that the role should go to “somebody who is completely out of the blue.” We shall see.
Here’s hoping married life continues to treat them well, and that Lipa emerges from the studio with a new Italian honeymoon-coded anthem.
