Only 1 Can Be America’s Next Top Ale(i)x

My life has been kind of boring lately, and a feud between two messy influencers I’ve never met could be just what the doctor ordered.

Only 1 Can Be America’s Next Top Ale(i)x

Two blonde podcasters formerly associated with Barstool Sports stand before me. But only one can be America’s Next Top Ale(i)x. Daddy gang, listen up. The rumored feud between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle has finally bubbled to the surface, and it’s playing out on social media for all to see. Did we really expect anything less?

First, some background. In August 2023, Cooper, the then 28-year-old host of Call Her Daddy, announced her own podcast network, Unwell, with then-22-year-old TikTok star Earle’s new podcast Hot Mess with Alix Earle as one of its flagship offerings. At first, this seemed like a match made in blonde podcaster heaven, and the women were often spotted out together at parties and generally doing it-girl influencer things. But just two years later, in February 2025, it was suddenly announced that Earle would be leaving the network for good. No clear reason was given for the seemingly sudden departure, and neither of the women ever spoke publicly about it.

Until now.

The drama officially went public this week after fans (and probably at least a few ops) noticed that Earle had reposted this April 9 TikTok from @thebravomom calling Cooper a “grim reaper” who capitalizes on celebrities’ most vulnerable moments.

Hey, the Bravo Mom said it. Not us.

This, obviously, got Cooper’s attention, who took things a step further and posted a TikTok of her own. In her best Carolyn Bessette cosplay (blonde hair and oval glasses), Cooper addressed Earle directly, both by name in the video and by tagging her in the caption, and challenged her to put up or shut up when it comes to shady posting.

“Alix Earle, hey girl, the passive aggressive repots and the like and commenting on things – I got to call you out here,” Cooper says. “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you want to say about me. There’s no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and say it yourself.” While we don’t get any concrete information from Cooper, we do get cryptic lines like: “I know what happened, and so do you,” and “I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”

So clearly, Cooper does not think she did anything wrong. But what does Alix think? On Monday, Earle commented, “Okay on it!!” on Cooper’s video. So stay tuned, I guess.
