All the Celeb Dads Who Got Snubbed by Their Exes on Father’s Day
...and the polite acknowledgments from the few A-list exes who are still tolerated by their families.

In today’s metaverse hellscape, Father’s Day has become a sort of Instagram holiday, where a story post will suffice for a year’s worth of appreciation for your father or the father of your child. But unfortunately, for the A-list couples and families who have experienced tabloid-ravaged “high-profile divorces,” they are left with a burning question year after year: To post or not to post your ex? To snub or not to snub? Should one honor their baby daddy with some Instagram crumbs, or just forget that that ever happened?
To celebrate Instagram-dad day, we’re dissecting the major snubs and polite nods made by celebrities to their exes/baby-daddies/fathers. Whether these men were good husbands or fathers, I can’t say, but at least a couple of dudes did enough to receive a public olive branch.
But first…the snubs.
SNUBBED
Tom Brady
Snubbed by: Gisele Bündchen
Brady and Bündchen divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and two kids, but Brady was conveniently left out of Bündchen’s Father’s Day praise. Bündchen dedicated her Father’s Day post to her new Jiu-Jitsu instructor husband, Joaquim Valente, with whom she now shares a baby boy.
“You are an incredible role model. We are all so grateful for you, and we love you so much,” Gisele wrote. “And dad, thank you for your unconditional love, wisdom, and support through every stage of my life.” Sorry, Tom, your message was sent via email. She did add, “Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.” Still a snub, Tom. Sorry.
Scott Disick
Snubbed by: Kourtney Kardashian
Disick and Kardashian share three children together, but BFD. Kourtney is now raising a child with Travis Barker, and her Father’s Day appreciation reflected the latter baby daddy only.
David Beckham
Snubbed by: His son, Brooklyn Beckham, obviously
No one is surprised, but Brooklyn did not post about his father for Father’s Day. Victoria Beckham’s photo tribute to David included Brooklyn, along with loving comments from the rest of the Beckham children. Perhaps Brooklyn isn’t buying the love after the supposed stage-paparazzi stunt outside of his home.
Pete Davidson
Snubbed by: Elsie Hewitt
Hewitt did not give her ex/new dad, Pete Davidson, a Father’s Day shoutout, which makes sense, considering she accused him of abandoning the family while she was postpartum and of leaving her to handle the bills by herself. Instead, Hewitt posted a photo dump from an evening spent in the park with friends and left out any gratitude to fathers.

Keith Urban
Acknowledged by: Nicole Kidman
Time to honor the men acknowledged by their ex-wives. “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers,” Kidman wrote, along with a picture of her father and recently divorced Urban. Congrats, Keith. You didn’t totally fuck it up, because Kidman is still thankful for you, and I trust her word over anything.
Ben Affleck:
Acknowledged by: Jennifer Garner
Affleck and Garner have had a successful co-parenting relationship for the ages, so no surprise here that Garner shared her thanks for him in her Instagram carousel.
Every Kardashian man
Acknowledged by: Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner spent her Father’s Day on PR cleanup duty, as she is wont to do. Kris came to the rescue with an Instagram collage for ALL the men in the greater Kardashian baby-daddy area, including Kanye West, Tristan Thompson, Travis Scott, and yes, Disick. (Posting your daughter’s exes so that they don’t have to…That’s love.)
Happy belated Father’s Day, all, but specifically to men who are not completely hated by their families/ slightly tolerated by the mothers of their children!
