The Beckham Beef Has Entered Staged Paparazzi Scandal Territory
“That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all—this was choreographed for the cameras," Brooklyn Beckham said of his parents’ alleged stunt.

It’s Beckham family beef time! Hope you’re hungry.
Here’s the latest in the 1,000-part installment of the psychological warfare this family has waged on each other and the world. On Friday, David Beckham was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the whole Beckham tribe was in attendance… except one: Brooklyn (whose public beefing with his family is so prolific it deserves its own star on the Walk of Fame). Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, then accused David and Victoria of staging a paparazzi event outside of their home, involving Brooklyn’s 14-year-old sister, Harper.
The full timeline:
Friday morning: David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony commences. (Sportsballers can get them too, FYI). Their youngest, Harper Beckham (14), is there, wearing a baby-pink dress, which comes into play later.
Friday afternoon: Later. Following the star ceremony, paparazzi catch Harper being dropped off unannounced at Brooklyn and Nicola’s Beverly Hills home, carrying a handwritten note (and wearing the same pink dress, meaning she came straight from the event). The Page Six story reads like a police report: “Photos exclusively obtained by Page Six showed her approaching the Beverly Hills, California, home around 2 p.m. PT, shortly after celebrating her dad’s star-studded Walk of Fame ceremony in Hollywood.” Harper attempts to call/knock/ring the doorbell for her brother, but to no avail. She turns around and leaves, and the paparazzi capture more photos.
Also Friday afternoon: Brooklyn posts an Instagram story of himself on a jog in NYC…The perfect alibi.
Saturday: Brooklyn and Nicola tell PageSix, “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all—this was choreographed for the cameras.” If true, this is sad, especially for Harper, who is 14 and now serves as the courier between her parents, the paparazzi, and her eldest brother.
Sunday: Victoria and David respond to Brooklyn’s accusation via a comment in The Sun, “This is clearly nonsense and just another untrue and unfair accusation.”
Tuesday: Victoria and David respond to Brooklyn’s accusation via an exclusive in Page Six, “Victoria ‘gutted.'” According to a source close to the couple, they “knew Harper was going to Brooklyn’s. The kids have had nannies and security their whole lives and have traveled on their own plenty of times, so there was nothing unusual about her going there [without her parents].”
For a couple who is so tight-lipped about Brooklyn’s excommunication, it’s wild to think Victoria and David would stage a commotion in the press like this (especially involving their young daughter). In April, Victoria was profiled for the Wall Street Journal, in which she never mentioned Brooklyn’s name, but said, “All we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.” However, the couple being brand-oriented and press-obsessed lines up with some of the allegations Brooklyn made about them in his 2025 expose.
At least they are communicating again, albeit via comments and “sources close to the family” in tabloids. But you have to start somewhere.
