ABC just ordered a pilot based on chef Eddie Huang’s bestselling memoir Fresh Off the Boat about a Chinese immigrant family in 1990s Orlando, Florida. Nahnatcha Khan, who created Don’t Trust the Bitch (say the whole word!) in Apartment 23, will executive produce!
I have high hopes for this one. And if the pilot doesn’t get picked up, then is Sullivan and Son any good?
