Ben Carson Says the Problem Is We Haven’t Heard Enough About Pussies

Politics

CNN’s Brianna Keilar had Ben Carson on Tuesday afternoon and bravely delved into the former GOP candidate’s perspective on Trump’s leaked comments about how he is best and greatest at sexually assaulting women.

Keilar asks Carson if he’s ever heard men talking like that, to which he replies, “Of course! Of course!” This is an unsurprising response, given that we currently live in a world where declaring you’d never grab a woman by the pussy is the lowest bar we’re asking men to clear.

Keilar follows up, wanting clarification about where Ben Carson has been hanging out that Trump’s dirty talk means nothing to him, and, after he rolls his eyes, he basically answers that he hangs around other men, and men talk about women like garbage:

As I was growing up, people were always trying to talk about their sexual conquests, and trying to make themselves appear, you know, like a Don… Casanova. I’m surprised you haven’t heard that. I really am.

Keilar says, “I haven’t heard it, and I know a lot of people who haven’t heard it,” to which Carson says, meditatively pressing his fingers together, “Well, maybe that’s the problem. Maybe that’s the problem.”

There follows an awkward back-and-forth during which Keilar looks completely stunned by Carson as he goes on an extended metaphor about trains.
