Much of the Eastern Seaboard is bracing for a big winter storm—especially Washington, D.C., where the National Weather Service has issued a blizzard watch starting Friday afternoon. Also scheduled for Friday afternoon: the annual anti-abortion “March for Life.”
Friday is, of course, also the forty-third anniversary of Roe v. Wade. And in a big roundup of blizzard-related reports, the AP notes:
Organizers of the March for Life say their annual anti-abortion rally in Washington will be held Friday, as scheduled.
The rally on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision is one of the largest events on the National Mall. Thousands of abortion opponents gather to listen to speeches before marching to the Supreme Court.
Please keep Washington, D.C. in your thoughts—they have enough trouble with snow without throwing hordes of anti-abortion protestors into the mix.
