Remember The Wanted? They released that tongue-in-cheek (tongue-in-vag?) song “Glad You Came.” Lindsay Lohan is a big fan and allegedly shtupped the lead singer, Max George. Welp, their new oeuvre is a poppy litte track titled “Walk Like Rihanna.” Get a load of the sublimely eloquent and inspiring poetry masquerading as lyrics:
As MTV news points out, this puts the group among the artists who reference other artists: Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger”; Drake’s “Girls Love Beyoncé”; Weezer’s “Buddy Holly” and Gorillaz’s “Clint Eastwood.” Eventually people will just sing their own names. (Or maybe Mariah is already on that?)
